Stitch the Cat

Stitch had lived on the streets for years. He was one of the many cats who are forced to fend for themselves in Baltimore's neighborhoods. Hope Is On Your Way had been feeding him regularly, along with many other cats and kittens, until the spring of 2010. On May 19, Stitch was hit by a car in the alley he called home, and needed emergency medical attention. Fortunately, Hope Is On Your Way was there to provide it. Stitch was found to be suffering from multiple infections, and his tail was so badly torn that it had to be amputated. After several weeks of intense treatment, Stitch was deemed well enough to go home -- although he had none! Fortunately, Hope Is On Your Way then found him a loving, forever home, where he resides today. Just one of the happy endings we seek for all our animal rescues.
